New this year at NYBG, the trail through the Everett Children's Adventure Garden has marigolds, artful calaveras, a larger-than-life Catrina and a community altar where you can add a photo or written memory. On Oct 31 and Nov 2 there are folk dance performances by MAZarte and papel picado and silk-flower workshops. On Sun Nov 1, from 1 to 5 PM, there's a Día de los Muertos parade at 2 PM with giant puppets, plus a cumbia class and a dance party (the parade is cancelled in bad weather). The trail closes at 5 PM on Nov 1 and 2.
