Playback's Free Street Party Outside BAM
Brooklyn DJs, local art and Double Dutch bring an all-day celebration to Lafayette Avenue.
Free. Free street-party admission; optional purchases and separately ticketed films extra.
WHEN & WHERE
Playback and The Soapbox Presents celebrate Brooklyn's artists and community outside BAM Rose Cinemas. Expect local DJs, Bring Your Own Vinyl, work by artist Katie Merz and Double Dutch, with food and drink also available.
Street-party admission is free and first-come, first-served. An optional RSVP provides updates but does not guarantee entry; refreshments and the festival's separately ticketed film screenings are not included. See the [party details](https://www.bam.org/community/2026/playback-street-party) and [dated festival schedule](https://www.bam.org/film/2026/playback) before heading out.
