The marathon marks the 50th anniversary of the five-borough course this year. You don't need a ticket to watch: pick a spot along the route in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx or Manhattan and cheer. First Avenue and Fourth Avenue in Brooklyn are classic spots. Check NYRR's official page for the course map and start times.
