About Halloween in Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown are the home of Washington Irving’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Halloween is their biggest day. Historic Hudson Valley runs the ticketed evening events at Philipsburg Manor and Van Cortlandt Manor, Lyndhurst hosts daytime mansion visits, and the cemetery where Irving is buried is free to walk until 4:30 PM. Ticketed events are sold online in advance only. We checked every listing on its official page on October 31, 2026, and each one disappears from this page once it closes.
